Making Sense of Sensory Processing: Understanding Your Child’s Sensory World

Does your child seem extra sensitive to sounds, avoid certain textures, or seek out movement all the time? You’re not alone — many kids experience the world through their senses in unique ways. In this relaxed and practical 45-minute workshop, we’ll explore what sensory processing is and how it can impact your child’s daily life. We’ll talk about common signs of sensory sensitivities or sensory seeking, and share simple strategies to help your child feel more comfortable, focused, and regulated. Whether your child gets overwhelmed in busy places or has trouble sitting still, this session will give you insight and tools to support them at home and beyond.
