About the event
Let’s Talk Play: Why It Matters and How to Support It
Play is how children learn about the world — and it’s one of the most important parts of childhood! In this fun and relaxed 45-minute workshop, we’ll explore the different types of play and how each one helps build important skills like problem-solving, social connection, emotional regulation, and creativity. We’ll talk about what play might look like at different ages, how to support your child’s play (even if they play differently than other kids), and easy ways to encourage more meaningful play at home. Whether your child plays solo, side-by-side, or with friends, this session will give you fresh ideas and a deeper understanding of how play supports their overall development. Let’s play with purpose — together!
